A tradition here in New Orleans is to go to Celebration in the Oaks. This is held in City Park - a huge park (begun as a plantation). Since Katrina it has been only a walking event. We look forward to the driving part also, but we had a great fun night there! We saw so much, including this very old Carousel (in the photo).
